Flight Path is a visualization of planes flying over my house. Four 360° panoramas are assembled from series of digital photographs, each series taken at a different time of the day and night. Flightpaths in a half hour period starting when the panorama was taken are overlaid as white curves.
The project came out of an interest in exploring and altering forms of data. I wanted to explore working with a set process, like a mathematical formula, which could have different inputs and outputs.
